A women-led Pakistani nonprofit rooted in equity, inclusion, and cultural respect.

Soormiyun Cultural and Development Organization is a Pakistani not-for-profit working across women empowerment, climate action, and cultural promotion — with women at the center of leadership and change.

Who We Are

A dedicated nonprofit committed to social change.

Soormiyun Cultural and Development Organization (SCDO) is a dedicated not-for-profit registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. Headquartered in Islamabad, we work across Pakistan to promote women empowerment, cultural diversity, and climate action.

Our commitment centers on empowering women, promoting cultural preservation, and taking meaningful climate action. Through advocacy, awareness, community engagement, and collaboration, we amplify the voices of women and marginalized communities.

Beyond our program work, Soormiyun also engages in creative expression, community mobilization, and knowledge sharing — connecting culture, gender, and environment as inseparable dimensions of sustainable development.
